So we finally put all of our schedules in sync and made it over to the studio. The idea was for Jim and Codak to attack the paper beforehand much like a live painting piece, and then screen their line work after. Jim took direction for half the run, with Codak making the layout on the other half--and then doing their final individual touches at their own studios.It's really refreshing to work with people that seriously are laid back, but at the same time professional artist. I might be gushing a little bit but damn, these guys really did what they do best, and without any muss or fuss. Zury was super instrumental in bringing this whole process together, and it definitely worked out great. Now all that's left is signing and stamping M athame on the corner, and then they will be available starting this Saturday at VTN in Pasadena.
